ARGENTIUM® THE FINEST SILVER

Argentium is a modern silver alloy, containing 93.5% or 96% pure silver. Standard sterling silver is only 92.5% pure.

Argentium silver is comprised of 93.5% fine silver, 5.5% copper, and 1% germanium. That 1% germanium changes the silver composition to now having an increased tarnish resistance, a whiter color, antibacterial, and hypoallergenic properties. 

This alloy was founded by a silversmith named Peter Johns. It was later patented, and trademarked in the UK by Argentium Silver Company, UK. 

The Argentium trademark symbol is a winged unicorn. Stamping the symbol represents the authenticity of the metal, and that Square One Artisan Jewelry is a registered guild member to use it.

All the jewelry designs so far would be stamped with (935) indicating that it's 93.5% silver.
